The main reason to buy an egg instead of anything else is so you don't have to drop more coin controllers. I regularly do 12 hr overnight cooks for pork butts with the egg holding at 225 all night.

I am confused. Costco took back the vacuum after using it for 4 years and you are complaining about their return policy.

You may want to check, I don't think they would have a lifetime warranty. Probably only able to return them.

I think everyone is assuming the HQ won't offer a warranty. Is this 100% certain and confirmed? Its quite possible the HQ will cover the egg. @Mr_Pigo Did you register your egg? Yup registered it the other day.

It says big green egg on the box! It's big and green. Has a big green egg manual, dvd, and magazine. Pretty sure it's a big green egg. I'm in Canada if that makes a difference.
