  • That is some setup.   You could start a food truck business with that kind of setup....
  • Call (800) 793-2292 and speak to Duane in support.   Please keep us posted!
  • Go for the large.  Love mine!
  • I keep mine filled anywhere from the top of the fire box to halfway up the fire ring. Stirring it up and adding more as needed before every cook. Sometimes I don't even bother stirring. Keeping the same level of charcoal lets me use the same vent se…
  • I felt a little jilted at having to pay for all of the extras but the customer service was top notch when I needed it...which is more than I can say about a lot of other products' customer service. Agree with that 100%.  When I needed help with a…
  • As a consumer I feel BGE has nickel and dimed me to death.  I love my egg and all but still feel a bit violated.  Somewhere over on the other forum someone showed off their new digs which included all of the above and the price was half of a large!
  • I have the high-que nomex gasket with adhesive backing and I have done many many high temperature cooks and 0 issues.   But then again it took me 2-3 hours of scraping and acetone to get all the old crud off before installing the new one.
  • The problem I see with the nest is there nothing around the top edge holding the egg from falling over.  Have you moved the egg around the store in this nest across bumps, and cracks and such?
  • That nest looks unsafe for some reason.   Not sure I would trust it.   Tables look great however!
  • 25 times or degrees? Personally I have not seen that need but of course your mileage may vary (YMMV).
  • I do not own an oven personally and cook everything on my egg. This may or may be wrong but it "WORKS FOR ME": Setup the egg as indirect using your plate setter.   Add a grid a few inches above the plate setter so that the grid is slightly belo…
  • After I ordered it, I got in 3-4 days.  Remember, you are getting the new wifi version and they may have a slight delay due to a lot of people wanting to get the newer version.  As you know, it hasn't been out a long time. I don't need the wifi ver…
  • Just curious, how long did you have to wait for your Stoker.  I am going on 3+ weeks and starting to get a bit aggravated that it still is not here.
  • Also perform the dollar bill test on your gasket and ensure you have no leaks.    Basically this means taking a dollar bill and close the lid with the dollar bill sticking half way out.   Tug on the dollar bill and you should have a decent amount …
  • I cannot get over how well the BGE does BBQ Chicken.  It's a nice and easy starter so I would give that a shot.
  • This seems to be a common problem.  It happened to me with my local dealer "Steepleton" as well - they assembled the grill wrong and after the 2nd high temperature cook within a week the gasket literally peeled off. Call BGE and talk to support (D…
  • This replacement grate will be a big help getting up to temperature quicker (I have one and love it!). PS: my Large BGE will do over 700 - the guage will peg so it is probably going much higher.   I use the…
  • High-que gasket is great.   Also BGE will send you a Nomex gasket if you call and request it.  The difference being the high-que gasket has a adhesive backing that does not require 3M-77. Either solution is going to require you scraping the older …
  • Congrats on the win.  Hopefully I will be able to attend next year!
  • I would give BGE a call and select the customer support option from the voice menu and speak to Duane  (770) 938-9394; (800) 793-2292
  • Dang I should have thought to not click on this link - I have not seen last nights show yet! [-X
  • If you do not mind me asking, what temp and for how long?
  • Did you use a pizza stone by chance? Cannot really tell what the pizza is sitting on top of. Looks great!
  • Really like the high-que grate. Just be careful when stirring the lump/ash if your tool gets caught it can move it to the side and allow ash to fall in to the bottom. Otherwise its fantastic.
  • Things like this should be free in my opinion. BGE already nickels and dimes everyone to death on add-ons.

  • Glad it worked for you but when you use the search term I supplied above it does not work. Going to the old forum with the same term worked. I would paste that URL but I believe that is against the rules here. My point is they need to work on th…
  • First link for me pointed back to ... Not sure why it would be different for you. I am not logged into Google on that search so it should not be using location based searches. Regardless look at …
  • Contrast the two:"carrot+cake"&hl=en&biw=1295&bih=959&fp=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&cad=b Google has it as #1.
  • Looks like the search feature is broken on this forum. Using google it found it right off.
  • Why is BGE pursuing Vanilla when its subpar compared to other established forums out there such as: Simple machines vBulletin ....  and at least 5 others.
