It’s almost Halloween and if you’re cooking on your EGG, you may end up with more people knocking on your door asking for pork chops than candy! In case you’re willing to share and want to please a crowd, we recommend warm Margherita Pizza, FGL’s Lemon Pepper Wings or our favorite, S’mores in a Cone!

If you missed the 17th Annual EGGtoberfest here are the highlights Click Here Fall is upon us, and it's a great time for getting out to one of the many #EGGfests around the country - see a list here

  • Yup- I haven't seen a way to reply to someone's comment that is maybe 5 comment prior to the most current one. To make a new post - go to the upper right area of the page.  Under the picture of the multiple eggs there is a search box, a "GO" anda gr…
  • Well shoot- I typed instructions for ya John... but then when I played around to add some emoticons to give you examples of our new choices- my text went poof. Doesn't seem to be a PREVIEW option for a reply, only for  new post.  We need that on the…

  • Would be nice to have the signatures back.  At the very least, I liked being able to look if people entered their state, to get a rough idea of their location (i.e. diff weather, diff grocery stores avail in diff areas, etc). >-)
  • :-O Just checking this one out.
  • Little Chef,  It wouldn't let me type in the message part on my first attempt either.  I had to click on a category to then get to click in the text box.  (Unfortunately, I clicked on the top option- Forum List- so now that post (about back arrow) i…
  • We didn't have any Coke on hand, so ended up egging half in apple juice and half in a bit of vinegar based BBQ sauce to see the difference... both covered in foil. The apple juice definitely made the pork more tender - thanks for a great idea Chr…
  • Glad you joined in- your question goes well w/ mine & I got to see the relevant responses. Good luck with / have fun at your shin-dig on the 23rd.
  • Thanks much for this info. Will look for the ziploc vac bags. We have an actual vacuum sealer at home, but I forget to use it (tucked away in pantry - not sure if I still have any bags for it at the moment). So, you still put water in the crock…
  • Even if we are Diet Coke drinkers, I presume we would want full strength / sweet / regular coke for this, correct ? I have used regular coke b4 to glaze a ham in the oven in years past, so I do know from experience to plan on using a disposable p…
  • Speaking on behalf of all women out there who have a husband, Dad, and/ or brother who are difficult to shop for - I recommend you get 3-4 basic things from what others have mentioned above. Then, save the rest of the ideas and then when Christmas…
  • Not local, but have visited a few times. For sure the Guenther House. Not on Riverwalk- but interesting to visit. We were there for a brunch/ lunch, but I bet breakfast would be fantastic also. You asked about Italian. We ate at Peasansos o…
  • Yup- after the 1st picture- I was guessing you were upping your level of devotedness by announcing you got your vehicle wrapped... a lot more space to promote your hobby / lifestyle than a license plate or bumper sticker.
  • And here I thought you meant he was strolling along some parade route, pushing a BGE in a wheeled nest w/ some nice ribs cooking on them & tantalizing yummy smelly smoke drifting out the top vent. Now THAT's how you sell a bunch of eggs quick…
  • Hope you have a great birthday & a wonderful holiday weekend. Cheers !
  • I have one, slightly different brand. Just beware when doing salsas and guac type stuff- it is VERY easy to overprocess quickly. So start out with some short pulses at first or you will end up with everything too soupy before ya know it. :S …
  • A great read - thanks for taking the time to write that up to share w/ us.
  • Looking good ! Want to invite me over for your next round ??!?  Those stuffing ingredients sound awesome. I am not any good at "stuffing" / rolling type recipes usually either. My motto: The messier it is, the better it t…
  • Bobby, Keeping you, Randy, and all his loved ones in my prayers. PRAYER : The world's greatest wireless connection.
  • That must be nice to be that close. The place in Denver just had a Father's Day sale (which then makes the prices the same as your FL place). My order includes a "Wild Mushroom & Sage" EVOO - I am looking forward to trying that. Also the n…
  • Richard, That porcini mushroom oil sounds right up my alley - but I don't see it listed on the From O & G website. Is it possible they discontinued it ? Many of their flavors are the same as the shop we found out in Denver - I love that Org…
  • Great. So- the BBQ sauce is one we discovered this month at our local EGG dealer. It was used during an EGG demo (on chicken and pork loin) and it happens to be made here in Georgia. It is called Super Sauce. We used some this weekend on win…
  • I know from experience how easily the inside of Le Creusets clean up from kitchen use. But knowing how expensive they are- that is not an investment I would gamble using on an outdoor grill. If the exterior got ruined, that may be an incredibly …

  • Now that is pretty snazzy ! I think it is missing one feature though. Where is the microscopic hook just under the daisy wheel lid for you to dangle plastic dollhouse size pieces of meat like ribs or baked potatoes or corn on the cob from ? Y…
  • NICE ! Thanks. I am a yankee & like sweeter cornbread. Jiffy cornbread is already pretty sweet- but will look for the Jiffy cake mixes in the groc store next time. This also reminds me of a cornbread recipe I have w/ lots of goodies in it …
  • Happy Bday to your doggie ! What kind ? I have a parrot. Don't know her bday, but I do celebrate her "Gotchu Day". :)
  • Great tips- will experiment this weekend & bake the cake a day ahead and play with some sauces while it is still warm.
  • Thanks for the quick response. Actually, I am thinking I WANT some "grilled" flavor in it. Not a strong meat smokey flavor, but a hint that there is something different about it / outdoorsy / came from an Egg etc. Like how plain grilled pineap…
  • Thank you very much for this info RRP. I will read over it in detail & play around with the settings. I knew about the classic view vs flat view option for the list of all the different posts, but I didn't realize there is then a separate opti…
  • One other option to consider is that some grocery stores sell quite inexpensive wine that is still suitable for your purposes. ALDI's has wine for 4.99 & sometimes less, Trader Joe's has some inexpensive ones, Whole Foods sometimes has 3/$10, …
