  • I found it to be a better deal if you buy a combo unit like this one -…
  • Nice! Thanks for the update, Mickey.
  • Shiff - Thanks for the info I will have to check it out! The map says I am about 35 minutes away...near the Downingtown exit on the turnpike.
  • Thanks everyone. I'm thinking PS Woo for now and hope they come out with a 2nd level/extender to put on top. Does anyone know when that will be on the market?
  • I've neven been but can't be more than 30 minutes away. I was looking at the ad that came in the mail this weekend after hapster was talking about it. How is it? What is the store like? Is it usually really crowded?
  • Now we're talking! This looks nice! So when using it with a platesetter, I assume the 2nd level has plenty of clearance? Thanks! Forgot to mention that I own the worthless BGE grid extender ugh.
  • Thanks for the response. I guess what I'm looking for is the Woo Extender but it looks like that is not made anymore? I was looking for a pretty prefab option if possible. Anything else out there or are bricks the best option?

  • Healthy option - boneless, skinless chicken thighes cooked indirect at 350-375 for 20-30 mins or until internal temp of 160. I rub them with various Dizzy Pig rubs and hit them with Fred's Secret Sauce. Same cooking method as the pork tender. Pork c…
  • I've never been to Shady Maple. What is it like? Lancaster, right? Hill's Seafood on 100 is a place I need to hit more often...I always forget about it. Do you live near Bell Tavern?
  • You probably needed to add more lump. I find that brands that are smaller pieces do not stay hot as long as the higher quality stuff. Pic looks great though!
  • Hi Hapster -I'm in Chester Springs, a couple miles north of the Downingtown exit of the Turnpike. I haven't been to Fred's in about 2 weeks, haha. It's awesome having such a great store so close.  I forgot that the egg can freeze shut! I like to go …
  • Try a drive to the Reading, PA area and go to Fred's. He has a variety of high end lump. You can check them out (including videos) on his website. We are lucky to have one of the best BGE dealers / BBQ stores around in the Philadelphia area. You wil…
  • I fixed mine with JB Weld as well...very easy. Just don't glue yourself to yourself!
  • Thanks everyone! We love it! Made a pizza Saturday night and some wings on Sunday night. The electric is not yet hooked up to the house so I can't take a pic of the lights yet. We were thinking of doing those flicker glow bulbs. They aren't very …

  • Well my patio is finally done. I'm gonna try to take some pictures today! :woohoo:
  • Wow those are some great set ups! Thank you all for the quick replies. I met with the patio guy last night and he is going to start around the end of next week. So maybe it will be complete by 4th of July. I will follow up with pics. And a before an…
  • I've made the steak fajitas from the BGE cookbook the past 2 weeks and they are amazing. My wife's homemade spicy guac really makes it! She said it is one of the best dinners we have ever made.
