I like Gato's idea. Why not just get another vent and mount it over the hole? It could work as a second vent.

Hey Lit, do you use the 10" Woo on your mini? I think our mini's are about the same age. The 9" grid fits much better than the 10" on mine. But I'd be interested to know if the Woo fit.

This basically the same base recipe we use. Sometimes we use Captain Morgans instead of brandy and usually some pineapple juice. Also use splenda instead of sugar. It's always a hit.
