Rutland Grapho-Glas 7ft x 5/8in Stove Gasket About three months ago on a four-year old large BGE I installed the Rutland Grapho-Glas 7ft x 5/8in Stove Gasket. I put a cast iron dutch oven on cooking beans at 175° dome temperature.  About four hours into the cook I opened the dome and the gasket fell away from the dome, the entire gasket. Apparently, a moist cook breaks the bond of the cement. Quite a shock.  Did burgers and other grill items until new Gold Standard High Heat Gasket with Adhesive for Large Big Green Egg with Kevlar and Nomex arrived. I'll report back on the Gold Standard Gasket.  But it was the easiest to install of the three previous gaskets, felt, Nomex with 3M spray adhesive and the Rutland.
