It doesn’t get much hotter than the EGG cookin’ in July! Make sure to keep yourself hydrated with a bit of whatever you’re using for the Beer Can Chicken. Ice Cream Sandwiches are also a great way to stay cool. Looking for some great ideas for a summer cook out? Try out a Pimento Cheeseburger or Dr. BBQ’s Spare Rib Surprise. Just don’t be surprised if your neighbors stop by for a quick bite when they smell what you’re cooking!

Big Green Egg headquarters has moved - come visit our new showroom and check out the museum and culinary center too! 3786 DeKalb Technology Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30340

  • Molly - Your food looks deeelish as always! Who ever knew the BGE could be considered therapy? So sorry to hear about your dad. They are so special and are never really gone. My dad is with me every time I stop to think of him. Many prayers …
  • Yum! That looks delicious, what time is lunch?
  • What do you need most? Appetizers, sides, desserts?
  • Awesome, sounds like you need to be here! If everyone who has a mini could bring it, we should have plenty of eggs to cook on plus what size egg the host has. All we know right now is a tentative date for July 30th. Will keep you posted. Hop…
  • We were thinking of dinner, would Bonnie be off by then?
  • Works for us!
  • I talked to Jeri this morning and we're trying to put "plan B" into effect. Are you guys available on July 30th?
  • I know! Can't talk Clay into the airfare though. :( Are you guys cooking there or just observing? We weren't sure how to take cooking stuff on a plane. How are you guys doing it?
  • I didn't get anything. :( Try again?

  • Love Kari's idea of TEGGAS in the name. I agree with everyone else, that Salado has far outgrown being an egghead gathering. It is a full blown fest! I do think it would be a good idea to line up some tents. There wasn't a lot of room last year a…
  • We'd love to join in! We're in Mansfield, but are willing to drive once a month for egg food. Shoot me an email if you get something together. Great idea.
  • I made these in a similar way for the 4th of July. Instead of cream cheese, I used low fat mozerella. They were the first thing to disappear and my guests were asking if there were more. I didn't tell anyone it was all low fat!
  • I've been so busy haven't had time for forum for a couple of weeks, but was so happy to see the banner just now. We're signed up. I filled out the form and sent it in and haven't even told Clay yet...hope he doesn't care! So are some of you goi…
  • YUM! This is going on my list of things to do! What a great idea.
  • What a great idea!
  • I love it Hoss. How true, we are blessed b/c so many have nothing!
  • We're in!
  • Hey big guy, thought you were going to delete the picture where I look like I'm mad b/c someone just ate the last chocolate chip cookie! Those were great pics and I'm so glad you and Beverly have jumped headfirst into this egghead thing. You'r…
  • One of my cousins owns Catfish Corner. When we head to Abilene, we always eat there. Then I go on a diet for a month!
  • Great pics. It was so nice to see you again. I'm still thinking about that morel sauce you cooked at the afterparty. What is the name of the recipe? I know you told me that night, but i was in a mushroom coma and can't remember!!!! :woohoo:

  • Does anyone remember who was saying there would be a Texarkana fest? Athens was a blast, hope to get pictures up this weekend. Looking forward to Plano and hopefully Texarkana!
  • I missed that too, but wish I hadn't...sounds really good!
  • I'll be praying that she's alright. HOpe to see you in Athens.
  • Be safe. We'll see you tomorrow, hopefully before lunch time.
  • Pre cook ribs is a great idea. You could do the same with pulled pork which would feed a lot of people. Cook it before the event, put it in foil pans, then you can add sauce and re-heat the day of the event. Lay out some tortillas and they can make …
  • Yippie! I can't wait to try those hotdogs. Do you grill avacados? I've never seen that done.
  • Wow, I don't think I've tried that at a fest before. Looking forward to it! Where are you from Big Red?
  • I'd cook what you like the best. And we've learned that the more prep you can do at home, the easier it is when you get there. I think I'm doing something with grilled veggies, so I'll have them washed, cut, seasoned and in bags before we head to At…
