I bought mine online from one of the faucet places, efaucets.com I think. I did a search for stainless steel bath bar to find it. They come in different lengths but mount the same way for the most part.

It is a stainless steel bar that I hang towels on and I mainly use it to move the egg table around the patio if I need to. I bolted it through the wood to the other side with stainless steel bolts so it wouldn't tear out of the wood.
Cooking ribs today in 35+ mph winds and a heavy snow squall. Everything was snow covered except for the egg. Good times.
When the snow melted I crouched down under the table to get a pic of the electrical set up. I got this little GFCI adapter fr…
My take on this table with the expansion across the grain issue was a wait and see approach, perhaps foolishly. I was hoping the the huge cut out in the middle would help take the stress out from the expansion. I kept a close eye on it through som…
Some more recent pics, including one of me cooking in rain (remnants of a hurricane no less). I made a trivet out of a travertine tile (bought for $3.00 at a surplus supply store and I glued some rubber feet on the bottom. Now I am not afraid to p…
SketchUp is google's free drafting style program. Go to sketchup.google.com to get started. It seems a little daunting at first but it's easy to get to know once you start playing with it.
The table is holding up well with some minor exceptions. The one thing I wish I did before weighting the table with the egg is put 1/2 inch wide by 4 inch long metal strap brackets under the table where the angle boards that make up the sides meet …
Well the table is now well broken in. Even had my first (and hopefully last) fire! I'll explain...
I was going to clean the ash out of the egg for the first time before starting a multi-hour smoke for some ribs. I had used the egg about 24 hou…
T-Que,
I have used SketchUp on about 4 projects now (excluding my basement design). I like it because it allows me to see what works and what doesn't before I cut even a single board. Since cedar, cyprus, Ipe, etc can be expensive I find the ti…
I have not heard of/worked with camaru either. I cannot get cypress locally (in PA) either without having to pay an arm and a leg to have it shipped. My deck posts and railing are made out of Ipe and they are heavy. It took some pretty sharp bits…
Very nice table. These were almost like time lapsed photography! I think the egg green contrasts nicely with your stain choice. The door handles are cool too.
You might want to be careful egg'ing in the rain since your feet might get soaked fro…
I have used SketchUp on a few other wood projects before. Even used it to 3D model my basement before I built it out. It's a pretty powerful program (for it being free) and there is a lot of on-line tutorials and how to videos that are very helpfu…
Thanks for the heads up on the Thompson's. I had suspected I would only get one season out of it. Will definitely change to something else this fall. Probably give that Helmsman's a shot.
Thanks again for the comments.
Thanks for the positive comments. The deck railings were made out of Ipe and I considered using that for the table. It was just a local supply issue that kept me from using it again. I supposed if I looked harder I would of found it but I got laz…
