That is a great looking burger. At my house, burgers is the family favorite on the egg. One day I would like to buy a meat grinder and make my own burgers.

This is the man you need to talk with. Great guy to deal with.
You are correct, it was shipped yesterday and thanks for the suggestion.
I have cooked 4 Butts a couple of times w/o a AR. I place 3 Butts on the normal grid and place a smaller grid on top of the 3 butts along with the 4th butt. I have no pics but it works well for me.
I usually make 1/3 lb burgers, raised grid @350-375 dome temp. Cook around 7 minutes and flip, cook another 7 minutes and pull them off the egg. The results are some very juicy and tasty burgers.
You received some good advice from the above post, you will be amazed at how easy it is to cook a good butt on the egg. A butt was actually the first meal that I cooked on my egg.
Before my cook this past weekend, I checked my dome thermometer and it was off by 35 degrees(too low). I am glad that I decided to check it before that cook.

I cooked 4 butts this weekend. The meat was on the egg at 4pm Friday. The first butt was done at 5:30 and the other 3 finished at 6:30am(Saturday morning). The egg stayed at 250-255 dome all night.
Hey BigA, don't sweat it as I did my first 4 butt cook this weekend.
As you can see there are only 3 on the egg when this pic was taken. I had one on top but it finished earlier than the 3 on bottom. The butt on top was the biggest and it finishe…
Its amazing how many people you can feed with a butt. We only needed 2 of the 4 butts that was cooked. We are going to freeze the leftovers, I would rather have too much than not enough.
I followed these steps:
Posting a photo to EggHeadForum isn't all that hard, but you have to understand a few things first.
1. The photo is not uploaded to the EggHeadForum server. You have to find a place for it.
2. The photo has to be placed …
Thanks for all the helpful replies. I think I will put them on Friday around 4pm. That is about 19 hours before it is time to eat. That should work out good, I hope.
My only concern is that I have never cooked over 2 butts @ one time. I will be using an extended grid. After reading on this board, I will place the 2 biggest butts on top grid, which some say that is the hottest spot.
