  • Very sorry to hear that JoJo. I was going to reach out to you guys down there to make sure everyone was alright. I see Hoss & Clark responded so I assume you all are ok? Terrible storms down that way......
  • Is that Superstition Mountain GC or Gold Canyon. Can't tell. We'll have to get together later this year or early in '12 when Ripnem and I are chasing quail around in your backyard :P
  • I have a buddy up there in DL that has a medium but he's not on the forum and kind of sticks to himself. Funny as heck though. I'll let him know your heading up that way and see what he says.... MNWalleye is right, there is a TON of water up th…
  • Oh ya... forgot to tell you.... you and I are having Halibut tonight :P Try to think of a good side dish.
  • Adam invites me over and momma talkes me into happy hour out on the town. Bad timing if you asked me :pinch: Can't beat that steak but I'm going to talk him into burnin some fresh Alaskan Halibut tonight! We'll see if it's good enough to hit t…
  • Hey Popsicle - Are those the same ones you did in AZ back in February? I meant to ask you for the recipe. Wow, were those good! Looks like you folks had fun in TX this past weekend. Wish we could have been there. Maybe next year.
  • Clark, what he failed to reveal is it was late in the day when I had to switch from doing ribs to doing chicken and I had grate in one hand, plate setter with rib juiced foil in the other and yes, I was cooking solo at that point I'll have to pos…
  • Wow, what a great idea. I have a ton of the stuff so let me know how it turns out. I think ground pork with spices will work good. Might think about some hot italian sausage too. I have some venison hot italian that would be real good to mix in.…
  • Thanks Clark!
  • One mistake I made was lifting the lid while it's sitting in the nest without any of the parts inside. It will flip right out of the nest if you aren't careful. Just a heads up...... Adam (Ripnem) and I usually take the lid off by losening the …
  • You're right, it's a personal preference. Not to mention, it's a lot harder to flip without falling apart without the skin....... Does depend on what kind of salmon we are talking about too. I catch mostly King/Chinook. Coho/Silvers and Sockeye …
  • How bout I just bring the whole fish home and you can filet your own
  • Looks nummy Clark. BTW, you gave us some of that sauce. I was thinking of trying it on chicken one of these days. Do you have any other recipes off hand that you use it in?
  • Don't have it handy but basically it's water, oil, garlic, lemon pepper, brown sugar. Might have another thing or two but that's basically it. Marinate 2hrs up to overnight in a ziploc. Kids love this one. It doesn't even taste like fish. On …
  • That is very good news Molly. I knew it wouldn't take long for someone with you talents!
  • Thanks everyone for sharing your pics. Fun to see other parts of the country.
  • Thanks. Not to sound cocky but that is pretty much a standard catch for the Spoon boat
  • Better not miss it again!
  • Nice pics
  • Nice pics Molly - that's what I'm talkin bout. Need a little attitude adjustment.... Those kind of pics will do it
  • I remember hunting those veggies. Running down the ditch like they were going to get away
  • Man, that looks tasty. I'm having leftovers tonight :( At least it's Elk though :cheer:

  • I like the way you think. Pre-planning is the way to go. Wonder if momma has a calendar for 2012 going yet! I know of a couple fairly busy extended weekends!

  • Miss Molly, Elk looks awesome. To be honest, the stuff I get cut up looks similar. You just have to trim it up a bit. I must not have sent you with backstrap? You got a load of burger though....

  • You sent me the pics of the chix but you failed to fill me in on the dessert. When you going to make that up for me? Looks good dude
  • I usually end up with a minimum of one in the freezer but more often, it's two. One from Colorado and one from AZ (if we get drawn in the lottery). Good stuff!
  • Thanks Clark. They are very good kids. Probably eat wild game 4-5times a week. Lot healthier than me!
  • Thanks Clark. Your pics are just a little better than mine :P I'll keep working on it. At least I have someone to look up to
