FWIW, I have been egging for 5 years now and the sous vide setup has been the best thing I have gotten since my first BGE.
Chamber vac is overboard for home use though, you can do 90% of what you need with ziplocs and foodsaver bags.
SV is so good…
Just got the email for the cooks--they are expecting 500! people! I definitely can't cook that many wings! This is my first time cooking at an eggfest and it sounds like it will be a challenge!

I've had great luck using Craigslist RSS feeds to find BGE's...I found my almost-new large BGE (still had white walls inside) for only 500 bucks.

I experienced the same thing last week when I applied Bone suckin' sauce to my Car Wash Mike's ribs...it's as though they have so much sugar they crisp up really easily.
Still tasted really good though :cheer:
