  • We got the XL for family of 3 (Wife, Daughter, and me). I like having the extra room when we need and use a lump reducing ring so I don't burn anymore lump. When I cook, I load it up and vaccum seal the leftovers. My wife is a RN and works night so …
  • Mickey, we think you did an awesome job with everything. It was our first egg event and we had a blast - just wished we could have stayed to the end. Nice meeting you and everyone else.

  • Thanks for the sample today and great idea. We really enjoyed ourselves - we just wished we could have stayed longer.
  • Very cool to see a launch in person. I was working as part of the Repair team for ET-215 (STS 122); for the feedthru connector issue. We were able to tour the launch pad, orbiter processing center, and mission control in our off time. I watched the …

  • Thanks for the suggestions! I forgot I have done ABT's several times as well. I really like the idea of dry aging my own beef, so that is in the future. I would like to try some different breads and getting a wok to do Chinese is on my list. Gott…

  • Thanks for the reply's. As a couple have guessed, I did competition BBQ for a couple of years; mainly at the Smokin' Blues in Hammond, Louisiana when we still lived over there. I was a team member on the pro side for 3 yrs, then decided to try "b…

  • DGb - I forgot about that. I used to do that for competition turn ins, but don't normally do it at home. I did find if you mix the honey with the SBR's Raspberry Chipolte it would take what little bit of heat that was there out.
