What ever you use in an oven or stove top you should be able to use on a BGE. You may pick up smoke on your cookware. I use a standard pan to do lasagna and it was so good and no issues with cookware/pan.
I think I will try the rocks or green feet on next cook. I have been putting the drip pan directly on the plate setter. No issues yet, but longest cooks around 6 hours. I have added water in middle of the 6 hour cooks.
