  • I have one which one also. It stays in my grill all the time. I love it. $125 is a good price for the quality and the functionality I believe. A cast iron grid cost $60-$70 depending on  which one you buy. Thats for only one grate. Here its your get…
  • I have one and love it. It  is very well built.

  • It is a grill dome. I especially love the the two tier swing out grate. It cooks like cast iron. Real heavy duty. I usually do all my meats below and my veggies and potatos up top. Love doing two pies at once Thanks for looking.

  • Maybe I will do some of the smaller things like dogs during and the other foods prepared.
  • Thanks for the input . I use to cook and serve but I switched it to a buffet serve style so I could have free time visting with people and not be at grilling all day.
  • Thanks for the input. I will give it a shot this weekend. I'll some pork sliced, diced, chipped, chopped, pulled. It's all good. Intresting story.
  • Thanks. I will give the foil a shot for 1.5 and maybe try some blues hog tennessee red in the foil pack.
  • Well said Fidel. Some ceramics are badly made and others are good. I especially the stainless steel and the machined gasket on the g.d.
  • The Grill Dome is a quality ceramic cooker. I have the newer model. That is an older model, seeing it has the scissor hinge and different handle. Better off buying new egg or g.d. at that price. I had an egg and a G.d. Holds heat 10 times longer is…
  • I have one. Works great. I usually have my meat below and veggies and potatos up top. Makes flipping meat so easy.I'm not sure what kind of steel it is but the ting is super non stick and gives killer grill marks.
  • I have it on the network. I just wanted my phone to get text messages, while I was gone for a couple hours.Back home now, everything is good to go still. I hate using the internet on my phone its a p.i.t.a.
  • Thanks. Great pics. Looks awesome. I have made pull beef a few times. I still haven't had pull apart real easy yet but it turns out tasty. Have a good tomorrow.
  • I have the same one from hsn. You can even get on value pay for $33 a month. I really like it. http://kitchen-dining.hsn.com/chefs-choice-premium-electric-food-slicer-with-2-blades_p-3163436_xp.aspx
  • I was told from another lump source that royal oak was buying out some other lump companies.
  • Thats pretty bad leaving both vids up.
  • I did see that video. I think those guys were pissed since they lost being an egg dealer since you can't sell other ceramic grills and be an egg dealer. Grill Dome has been around since 1985.
  • I guess maybe it could have been the same issue. When I lifted the lid it was so heavy and not stable. I was afraid the thing was going to fall off the base. I just didn't want to mess with it after that, didn't want to break on me. Maybe it was jus…
  • I have a Grill Dome. I wouldn't call it inferior. It's a great grill. I also still use my weber kettle. I think thats an awesome grill. Can't have enough grills, right? I was thinkig of adding electric masterbuilt to the mix but I will hold off on t…
  • Thanks for all the info. I will give it another try. I was ready to give up and just buy some buns but that takes the fun out of it. Besides even the failures still taste good.
  • I had it softened Maybe I was to anxious and it was still a little to cold. I used a sticck of blue bonnet. Not sure if that matters. Plus I didn't beat with mixer. I will try your recipe next time and will get some unsalted butter. Thanks. Than…
  • I haven't notice much of a mess. I haven't had a ton of drippings. As far as gasket, I don't think it would be a problem. I'm a messy cook at times and spilt stuff on the gasket many time with out issues. I will take note for the deck and let you kn…
  • Your welcome. He just came out with this unit. I think the price now is an intoductory price. Not sure how long he is doing that price.
  • I love this unit. This wont be coming out my grill. I like putting veggies and potato's up top when doing burgers and I can just swing it out to flip. I started using my kettle more because I thought it was a pain at times cooking a whole meal but n…
  • I got it from Ceramic Grillworks. I do a lot of two tier cooking and this is a must have in my opinion. Well built. You can even call Franco 1-877-71-GRILL.I get my rubs from him and I stopped in for some and saw that and had to have it. http://sh…
  • I never used steakhouse lump. How is it? I can't find any info on that grill either. Looks pretty cool.
  • I just bought this and love it.
  • Thanks. Thats what i figured. I was just thinking maybe if its 95% oak and 5% other it may not be to bad. I guess I'll just order through smokinlicious.
  • I posted below but wanted to make sure you saw it so here is the info again: Ceramic Grill Works 1-877-714-7455 ext 1 ask for Franco. He just released it yesterday and I happened to stop by for some rub so I couldn't pass that up. https://www…
