I was given a medium two years ago for fathers day.
Without sounding overboard it has changed my life.
I can get home, start the egg, and have food on the grill in under 30 min. Of coarse it depends on prep time for what you are cooking.
Glad you are feeling better and able to cook.
I will have to try that, hopefully the meat dept at my local safeway will let me have some paper and the net.
Is the netting a must or would something else work.
did it 2 and half at 650 both sides and then turned off
for 9 min. I loved it but the people who tend to like more of a med well steak did not. They were thick steaks and I probably could have left them 2 or more min.
I thought it would take 4-5 hours at that temp to get to the 150-160 internal like it says in the third eye recipe. It went quicker and so it was over done.
The corning must make for a shorter cooking period.
Oh well live and learn.
I appreciate the answer. I am going to put it on my med 225ish for a few hours. What temp should I pull it seeing as how I have a point and not a flat?

Well I did save some branches but I took the 4 ft main shaft with the trunk on to the street. I dont have a chain saw and had to saw with swede saw. I guess I should go and cut the trunk out and save the rest.

I have a medium and have had same trouble. I have cleaned airholes but still 650 ish is all i can get.
I rarely go that high but nice to when you need a good sear.
Also I wanted to ask you the best way of raising temp after an hour @325is…
