Very nice. Is that the new and improved model? I'm needing a new thermometer. I've fried too many Polder probe wires. I refuse to buy another. The old cover the wire with foil trick just sucks! Prob just gonna go with a thermopen next.
It wasn't as cold as it looks really. Had to make a fire inside the egg before I could open the lid.
We're back home in Florida now and it's 49 degrees here. There is snow in 49 of the 50 states right now! Wow.
Cook at a higher temp. I do mine at 450-500. It was trial and error for me, but that seems to be the sweet spot with my setup. I do platesetter legs down with 3/4 inch stainless nuts on top, and pizza stone on top of that.
