  • Thanks for the suggestions. Have a great day.
  • Doug, Thanks again. The casserole takes less time to cook than the chicken so would have to take the chicken out to put casserole in. Am trying to keep casserole on top. My wife is telling me to stop trying my hardest to screw this up and just cook…
  • Thanks for the input. With the legs up plate setter, grid, and a raised grid my top won't close all the way. Next step? Thanks again.
  • Thanks, That's what I was looking for but couldn't find. Would still like to hear if others have some definate dont's.

  • Morning all. I'm not a big aluminum fan to start with but that item is listed as an aluminum "alloy". One doesn't know how much is actually aluminum and what else is in there.

  • Thanks, the problem seems to have dissappeared.
  • hawkegg, Happy new year. Try your Betty Crocker cookbook. On your Egg or with briquettes in the open you can make just about anything in a Dutch Oven. As with anything else, the first couple of tries might turn out interesting but you gotta start s…
  • WI Griller, My wife surprised me with a large BGE this past spring and I was blown away. Had never heard of them before but had been talking about getting a new grill for the past few years. It's been loads of fun and surpasses the old Weber (which…
  • proudpapa56, Thanks all. My wife will give me the "Are you insane? It's a ham, just stick it in the oven, period." Well, it's her fault, she bought me the egg.
  • NUMAN, Just so I wouldn't have to buy 112 bags at a clip I asked at Lowes the other day if they would carry the Cowboy lump through the winter and they said it is a stock item that is there all year.
