You'll need to take into consideration the hinges during the opening and closing. Mine was built about an inch less than listed and the hinge would hit and the lid not open.
Give it a dry run before screwing it down.
I plan on doing that. Probably even wash it to make sure i get that extra half ounce of dust off of it too. I'd hate for the wife to hurt herself moving it but I'll be right there with the moral support and supervision.
