  • We are long time Eggers but the kitchen is new to us. Spork and Lowrodz cut the center out for us for the large egg. There is a sink just right of the large egg. I caught Canon the Frisbie Dog up there this morning, looking like a king.
  • Awesome pics. Thanks for sharing
  • I love your new table too. I missed seeing that at OKC. Who makes it? I saw a small table there that was nice but was still in protype phase. I can't think of the name but it was another grill company. Can you share more info? or email?
  • We used the apple juice but I like your ideas. We did the turbo cook and are sold on it because it seems often we don't do ribs because we don't get started early enough. Honestly the white wine bottle was sitting on the table by the apple juice -…
  • I am posting a pic of three slabs that my nephew Logan Kelly cooked today in honor of CWM. Logan met Mike at the OKC Eggfest in 2009. He is a young man who has taken to the Egg like...well.. you know. He is a great guy and when I told him about M…

  • I remember that! It's a goodie!
  • This is such a shock. We enjoyed knowing Mike and sharing friendly KSU, KU banters. He was always so helpful and made laughing easy. We made his rib recipe just this weekend! When we do ribs we ask..."what would Mike do?" Rest easy guy!
  • don't think we have met. your profile says tomorrow is your 1 year anniversary to the forum. That's a good thing....I think. See you in OKC.
  • gosh, go away for a while and the jokes all change  believe me, i tried to come up with it but honestly "i never knew mike felt that way about me" Besides, I though mike loved chubby. don't know nuttin about Tweev. I feel like someone who …

  • I love my DigiQII. It makes us novice low and slow people look like seasoned Eggers!!! We did our first butt this weekend and we are in Hog Heaven over the results. Can you believe they now have one that you can track from anywhere (work) via yo…
  • TOO FUNNY. Since so many folks stole my idea to make undecided, I fear the competition and will go with something meaty. Don't tell anyone, they might steal that idea too!
  • What a great setup Jake. Are you going to OKC? We met in Omaha and would enjoy seeing you again. We added a small about a year ago and would love to get a mini someday. Topekans - Chuck and Carol
  • You are COLD!!!! Yes, we are cooking cat, WILDcat! Gaud Mike, I don't talk to you for almost a year and you dis me! You cats are always hissin and *issin about something. I've been searching eBay this evening looking for a life…
  • Spork, I am thrilled that I can bring a man of few words "out" of lurking mode! I will bring a tall glass. We have been really busy and not really working on our menu. As usual, we will fly by the seat of our pants and a good time will be had …
  • Hey Kim, Good to hear from you! It will be great to see you. Pray for great weather like we had last year. Carol
  • My 2 cents. It will definitely clean easier if it is warm, just cleaning your oven. No cleaner of ANY KIND inside. I agree with Celtic Wolf. 409 or simple green will work on a warm exterior. Really cheap vodka, methanol or isopropyl alcohol wou…
  • Welcome! from Topeka. You are in for fun and great food. Carol
  • Thank you RRP!
  • I don't know about Chicago fest but we have been looking at airfares on AirTran for Atlanta and weighing that against driving. Are you two thinking of doing Atlanta again this year? We had promised ourselves we would go this year if we can keep ev…
  • Oops, Randy. I changed your name too LOL!!!!
  • Rick, I thought after I posted, that this just might catch on."Mollymometer" it has a nice ring to it. At first I tried 'Mollymeter' but I like Mollymometer best. Thermopen probably won't want her to go so far to call it that but we sure can. W…
  • We unfortunately paid around $40 for ours but has been great so far. Perfect for those days when it is really cold and you want to keep an eye on the progress of the cook. Sunday we did a turkey and when it was done, we spot check with the "Mollym…
  • Grandpas grub, 2 2 funneee. If I send my pic, could you knock off a few lbs, lift the sagging neck, remove crow's feet and the heavy lid syndrome. Gosh, I didn't think I looked THAT bad until I started placing my order  Oh, yeah, my hair …

  • No help here on butts, however, I just wanted to say "hilarious handle" :P :woohoo:
  • Looks great. Interesting way to split the peppers. I will have to try that. We just had abt's last weekend. Thanks for posting. Carol
