Table looks great....welcome aboard! You should have no trouble going from the WSM to an Egg.
Easier to go from WSM to BGE than the other way around :-t

Might get loseto 200 dome in the sun today in midwest? Where the food is - most important. An accurate temp often overlooked when using BGE dome dials. That said butt is very forgiving.
Some really good advice from lousubcap, travisstrick and hi…
FYI - when you put the meat in (or the cold stone/PS) the temp will drop some but soon rebound if you got a stable egg. Goes w/out saying I know but throwing it out there. Good luck - you'll do great!
No gasser. If space and money were no issue, I would have one xl and one lg side by side. The Xl for long and slow and the lg for hot and fast. Example: You would sear your steaks on your lg and finish them on the xl or do a brisket and or ribs on t…
Welcome Chuff. Enjoy the journey!
Agree with MichiganJason with the versatility of Woo2/adj rig combo with stone. Would not say there would be no use for platsetter with that setup but it's use would likely be marginal and never an exclusive need…
I can relate, but I put mine together and set it on a stone and have just ran the coals with no food one night and then made the spatchcock chicken another night...Until then I plan to cook down close to the ground :D

Someone needs to post the next 20% off Ace online ;)

I've read about 8 oz uncooked PP per adult (little more than Little Steven above) and it has worked for me in the past. If you finish it right before and in the same location as event undoubtedly you will start the salvation glands and coul need a l…
I use Dizzy Dust (at least the past 4 or 5 cooks) and setup over an aluminum pan with one or two cans of apple juice concentrate. The juice and drippings keep the atmosphere in the egg moist - allowing for egg magic! It is important to raise the pa…
Great - thanks for the greetings and advice!! This will help me recover from buying the egg and nest - and then the plate setter and pizza stone a week later... Now I can't wait to try some ribs!
If you are looking for sympathy from this group fo…
Bet of luck. Should have no problem with the PP. Have done 3 (on end side by side - but understand ok to stack). Low and slow would have been my suggestion had I read this 5 hours ago ;)
I just paid $900.00 for an XL here in the greater Portland Oregon area. However, that took some shopping around... most retailers were willing to discuss price but there were a few that were pretty firm on their prices. My next step was to pick up so…
