  • Thanks, I was able to pull it apart by putting my foot in the lower vent and pulling hard. The inner 1/3 of the gasket is cooked all around. I'll check out the Nomex with the mothership as you suggested.

  • I have used the same stone under my extra-large egg since March with no problem. I have been using a round concrete paver stone under my medium egg for the past 4 yrs with no problems. Maybe you got a defective stone.

  • RRP, Didn't get the green feet with the extra-large--should they be there? I had been using the green feet with my medium in similar setup, but actually had them UNDER the concrete paver.
