We’re feeling pretty super, how about you? The big game is fast approaching, and while we love football, we love an excuse to invite people over and cook even more! You too can cook like a champion with recipes from Dr. BBQ’s NFL Gameday Cookbook: Grilled Tuna Sandwiches from Seattle and Baked Brie from New England. Who’s going to win? You’ll have to cook both to find out.
The 17th Annual EGGtoberfest was amazing - here are the highlights Click Here
@tksmoke: I can endorse Outdoor Creations heartily. I live in San Diego and have made the trip to Upland for their Eggiest and to buy two Eggs. Thad Stikey is a great person to work with.
Upland is just west of Rancho Cucamonga along the 210. I take…
@stlcjarcoal, @Little Steven,@lousubcap:
All I cook these days on the Small are quick steaks and kababs, and 2-hour ribs. I have a Rutland gasket on the bottom and none on top. I never see smoke come out of the middle.
I cooked one steak last night…
@thtrim: I used Dizzy Pig Raging River rub.
@SkinnyV: Funny you should mention that. I recently started putting Kroger Poppyseed Dressing on my broccoli. Its sweet and tangy and makes the veg a lot more interesting.
He used mustard and rub on one half of the rack, and rub and mayo on the other half. The mayo half was the best he'd ever made.

You don't really have to defrost the steak on the counter if it is vacuum sealed, or in a sealed bag. I put the vacuum-sealed frozen steak in a bowl of hot water and don't even bother to change the water. The steak is room temperature in…
I have continuous success with just the AR at 375°. It takes about 45 minutes.
I've started using a sit-alone Thermoworks probe in the thigh to make sure it gets to 180°. I can just look at the display and see the temp without lifting the lid. What …

Did she use her fi…
I like to check out the buyers' reviews on Amazon and I know you'll love this:
"I have used my Looftlighter many times, but never for its intended purpose of lighting charcoal. It works great in the kitchen any time you need controlled, intense heat…
@RRP, let me run this by you. First, I don't have table salt, so sea salt will do, or even better use all kosher salt, doubled. Agree?
For the foiled 8 x 8 metal plate, how about an old aluminum 8 x 8 cake pan turned upside down and covered in foil…
@Maccool, he used a baking steel, not cast iron. Baking steels give great results and he will find a way to make the pizzas he want...probably by raising the steel as high in the dome as he can. Lots of posters have reported excellent results.
This is my favorite:
WILD BOAR SOUL BBQ SAUCE

You should REALLY REALLY REALLY try this. I believe that
it's an inspired compendium of common ingredie…
