My wife and I saw the show also and are also ging to try this weekend--my side w/out the lettuce and maters. Looked outstanding. Never seen burgers a foot long X five inches wide. Rick
Have you tried the Dexter vinegar based thin sauce? I usually get the pork steaks cut thin , rub w/ Dizzy Dust, and put the sauce on after cooking. Good food, especially wit cheese garlic grits(baked) on the side
We made sloppy joes a couple of months ago. No sauce-- just loose hamburger meat--drained w/ lots of pepper and some dizzy dust. Topped w/ jalapeno pickles. Tasted similar to ones I ate 25 years ago in Iowa--- at diners called Maid-Rite.
Don't have a large- but do have a medium and a small. Most family gatherings we are cooking 3 or 4 different foods at different temps. RRP-- It sure looks cold up in Dunlop--assuming a Chicago burb.
