We hope everyone’s enjoying the first few days of summer. For us, the weather heating up means one thing - the EGG’s gonna be busy! Whether you’re making stuffed burgers for a backyard grill out, some brats before a baseball game or searing a steak for dinner on the patio, we hope you’re doing it with full flavor and having fun all the while!

Big Green Egg headquarters has moved - come visit our new showroom and check out the museum and culinary center too! 3786 DeKalb Technology Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30340

  • Just wanted to say thanks for the feedback on this forum.  I am new to the forum and relatively new to the egg but love every minute of it.  Have been smoking quite a while on other equipment but now I am selling out to dedicate to the egging lifest…
  • I see you were warned about higher temperatures in yours.  Was this due to the age or because of the JB Weld repairs?  Mine is not cracked and I don't want to bust it by going too hot if that is not recommended practice.
  • Thank you kindly for the information.  I'm looking to possibly blast and paint the original bands and just replace the lower vent as you did.  I may leave it in its original brown egg color
  • I'm so excited to get it restored that I can't stand it.  Even though I can use my two larges anytime this project just seems "special"
  • I noticed your repair here and I have a very similar egg I got from a friend.  Did you replace the bands and lower damper with new ones?  If so did they fit ok?
