  • I'm in Royal Oak. Had a pretty good dealer just up the road from me but they are no longer dealing with BGE. Once they sell what they have they are done.
  • So far I really like it and I haven't done much one it. The thing heats up really, really quick and does not seem to consume a lot of propane for the heat it puts out. I am excited to do more on it this summer, especially this fall come hunting seas…

  • Thanks, this one meant a lot to me. I did one back in March with one of my very good friends. He passed away suddenly in the beginning of April. We were planning on doing this one together so I went ther to win it for him.
  • SGH said: @shadowcaster Congradulatuons ole buddy. Way to kick a$$. I see both a BGE and a WSM. Which did you use if I may ask?  I used the Egg for the ribs. The WSM was used for the sausage and the wings I did for lunch and pass around…

  • I am very curious to see how the reviews go. I am a huge Weber fan. However I am looking at buying an XL aND I have a hard time believing that I would buy the weber over the XL egg when it comes down to it.  I have 3 Eggs and 3 webers but my eggs ar…
  • I fly fish...the only hobby I can think of that is cheaper is maybe yachting! Haha
  • Got my medium as a gift when I was about 23 or 24. Now I am 29 and have 3, looking for a fourth.....

  • Well the Competition was yesterday and it went pretty well. I placed 6th which isn't horrible for my first comp. I did a lot of things right and I am pretty confident I know what I did wrong. All in all I had a really good time and meet some great g…
  • I'm not saying I'm changing everything. Just asking for some pointers is all. Maybe a couple subtle tips might help. I've never been in a competition so I don't know how everything works. I cook for family and friends, from what I'm told cooking for…
  • I did one on saturday night and it came out great. First one and it won't be the last
  • @Crimsongator I appreciate the tips! As I said this is my first event. I am hoping to learn a lot from this one and to have fun. I will let you know how I did. Thanks again!
  • I have done a few practice runs and things have turned out good. I like blues hog but was thinking about running EAT sauce. I will be using st.louis cut but I am concerned about time as well. I normally do not foil but think I will for the competiti…
  • Sanctioned event with turn in boxes and Kansas City BBQ society judges. Set up is at 7, then a meat inspection. After that we can start cooking. Turn in is at 2

  • Decided the 22" was the way to go for me. Pick it up today and will be taking it North with me this coming weekend. Of course I had to try it out so I messed around with it and loaded it up. It really is holding temp really well, I am impressed. Doi…
  • I always buy local, never bought online. I prefer  to support local guys when I can. casa magba is not a bad cigar for the money. I have a few in my humidor. That cigar in a robusto won cigar or the year (for what that's worth) back 5 or 6 years ago…
  • I agree! I still use my rapala to trim a lot of different things. For the money I don't think you can beat them.
  • I'm curious to see what road this thread leads down......
  • Love mine as well. I have had the ice last over 24hrs, not saying huge pieces but little pieces of ice floating around. The water was still cold though! It is the best $30 that I have spent in a long time. Their colster works well too.
  • Thanks to all for all of your input. I really appreciate it...I will let you know what I do
  • Good Luck brother! I know it has to be tough, just stay positive!
  • Yea I am some what aware of the drawbacks on the WSM but as I said I am ok with that. I just want something to use up there when I feel like smoking. I started on the weber kettle with the smokenator so I am aware of some of the drawbacks. Although …
