WOW!! We brought home the demo egg on Saturday.  Today was the first time I got to try it out!  IT IS AMAZING!!  I'm waiting for some stuff to ship from the ceramic grill store, so right now I don't have a platesetter.  I grilled chicken legs - I used a brick wrapped in tin foil to elevate the legs.  They were the best BBQ'd chicken I think I have ever had!  Tonight is grilled salmon, baked potatoes, and corn on the cob!  It's just fun to use!!

  • Hello All,
I've been thinking about owning an egg for over awhile now.  I was figuring on purchasing this spring, so I decided to join the forum instead of lurking around as I had been doing.  Long story short - when I went to join the forum, the page displayed where the egg fests were going to be.  I lucked out - there was a place about an hour away from me that was hosting one and I've put a deposit down on a large demo egg!  May 3 is my long awaited for day!!  I bought the nest from a different dealer that was offering a huge discount since the demo egg doesn't come with one.  Does anyone have any words of wisdom for me?  I'm resisting the urge to purchase additional stuff until I've grilled with it a few times.  But any advise is welcome.  Thanks.
