Ive been using wood charcoal in my BGE since I bought it a year ago, I recently saw kingsford competition charcoal briquettes that say they are designed for both charcoal grills and ceramic grills (BGEs). Has any one tried or used them?

  • had my large BGE for a couple weeks now and have been cooking with direct heat, steaks, burgers and indirect heat, pork loin and frozen pizza. trying my first attempt at smoking some pork ribs, temp is at 250 and maintaining. going to try the 2-2-1 method. pics to follow when done.
