RRP here - Having had RC surgery myself I know what you are going thru - just know that every day it will get better. The thing that really helped me was a "wrap" that went over my shoulder and then an electric pump circulated cold water. I hope you have/had something like that. I hate to take any more pain medicine than I needed to so maybe I was my own problem. You'll be getting into rehab with PT before too long and then you'll have to address a whole new type of pain. Good Luck!
I appreciate the advice and encouragement. This process has really been a challenge. I had my second day of PT today and I can already feel that its going to get really sore. My most difficult challenge, thus far, has been getting a good night's rest. I often wake up in the middle of the night to an aching shoulder. It feels ok before I eventually fall asleep but every night seems to be groundhog day experience. I watched a few youtube videos and heard good things about the cold water therapy systems. I haven't thought to price one though. I have several cold/hot packs that I keep in the freezer that I rotate in and out. I usually ice the shoulder at night before bed. I try my very best not to take the oxycodone until its time for bed and it usually relaxes me. I will keep you posted as I progress and really appreciated you reaching out to share your experience. Most ppl that havent had the same process dont understand the frustration. Hopefully I will get back to egging soon. Im sure that will give me a little piece of mind.
I am looking to buy the exact same table. Nice to see one opened up like that. Did you have to take your EGG apart to drop it into the hole? Do you mind me asking what it cost you? on sale and regular price?
