I saw your post in the 'table' forum. I like the idea of my eggs -xl and m- in their nests but would benefit from a table to work on with storage. Living in the North East, weather proofing is important. Any guidance for me? Thank you. Nick
Good reviews on the kamado mate. Seems these post were early ones.. Paying for accessories that we may not need but want is part of the American dream of ownership. How much are the new egg lslands? Have to put things in perspective. People buy cars for show they don't drive. Guns for protection they will never use. Lottery tickets that are hardly ever winners. Grill covers they never cover their grill with. And the list goes on. When you've got cash to spend (poor and rich alike) you do what you want with it. Even if you're only going to used it on occasion. It's the thrill of the moment. Being in retail and selling grills and accessories has taught me that when it comes to folks having BBQ toys, there is no limit. Big Green Egg owners are usually the biggest kids in the candy store too, hence the implosion in new accessories offer by the egg folks (which is a fine thing to see)
