It doesn’t get much hotter than the EGG cookin’ in July! Make sure to keep yourself hydrated with a bit of whatever you’re using for the Beer Can Chicken. Ice Cream Sandwiches are also a great way to stay cool. Looking for some great ideas for a summer cook out? Try out a Pimento Cheeseburger or Dr. BBQ’s Spare Rib Surprise. Just don’t be surprised if your neighbors stop by for a quick bite when they smell what you’re cooking!

That's alot of meat!!! Nice. I take it there is no drip pan in that set-up then?
  • yes, there is plenty of room on the stone for a pan.
  • I am cooking 3 - 7 lb buts on the Large BGE tomorrow. My question amount of smoking time. I normally cook 1-7 lb butt at 230 for 2 hours per lb. Should I plan on alonger cook with multiple butts ?

no...if not touching it will be the same. if touching don't worry, they will shrink. That may cause a slight increase in time. But at 250-275 dome with 3-4 jammed on a grid I am still at under 2hrs a pound
