I just checked out RhumAndJerk's Loin with Habenaro link and found that 4 ingredients in the list had an asterisk for the quantity. I've encountered this problem before and wonder what's up? Does using a Mac have anything to do with it and what is the solution?

    The missing numbers are:
    1/4cup brown sugar
    1/4 cup Dijon Mustard
    1/2 medium onion, chopped fine

    Stuart, it has to do with not having the same font installed on your computer. Apparently the 1/2 symbol was used in the recipe... unfortunately, characters above ASCII value 127 vary by font and computer. The only solution is to use 3 characters '1/2' rather that the single character representation when the recipe is posted.
