Hot Wings...So how did I do Poot??

Haven't posted in forever...I reallly don't like moving. :blink: Anyways, had a hankering for some wings after talking to Pork Butt Mike (aka Poot) the other night. He kept bragging and bragging about his award winning wings, so I caved in, and decided to give his method a try. :laugh:
Here are the wings getting happy with Poots "Rub Your Butt" home made rub....
And I wanted hot wings, but wanted the hot sauce to stick, so I combined these....
Here's the finished pic...Really great, and cooked indirect with love and patience.
Really good, and hotter than I expected! :blink: Skin was crisp, and an excellent wing!

Gotta love wings on the Egg! I think tomorrow will be the 9th Sunday of the NFL season I've done wings on the Egg. Yikes! Wings followed by Turkey tomorrow...maybe balances each other out?
Is that a 'secret' rub?

SBR is big in the DFW metroplex (they have their logo at Rangers field) but I have NEVER seen the vidalia sauce :huh: !!!! I am on a journey to find it. SBR's is pretty darn good!

LFG: It is stocked on the shelves here with all the other SBR varieties. You sure? If you truly can't find it, let me know, and I will hook you up with some. SBR orig, chipotle, onion, etc....and on sale buy one get one free usually once a month!! Let me know, but usually displayed as a unit in the grocery. Mixed with the Franks, was a killer wing sauce!! We love the SBR on pork, straight up. Though I still prefer my Carnivore. (since I still gotta ship it, I nurse it a bit)

Going to look today, and maybe I missed it (but with the word Vidalia on it, likely not). They push their sweet sauce here, which is a local favorite. Also ahve not seen the Chipotle. Have been going to Tom Thumb, may try a few other stores today.
