I'll bring you whatever meat you want if you got some land I can hog hunt....or deer hunt....or dove hunt.

Stripling's down near Lake Blackshear is mighty hard to beat. There used to be a little butcher shop out past the hospital when I lived in Dublin a few years ago. Don't know if it is still there but I can find out if you want.

  • The one by the hospital it still there. Not great though!
  • m and t in hawkinsville ga. is one of the best around. you will be a kid in a candy store when you walk in.... always a line on fri and sat.... if you are going down 75 near ashburn, need to stop in at carroll's sausage. they have great selection with top quality meats..
  • I will have to make a trip to Hawkinsville!
  • you will not regret it.... may have the best selection of any place i have been in...plus they are a egg dealer.
  • Myron Mixon gets his whole hogs from "Yoder's Butcher Block" in Montezuma. I've not used them, so I do not know what all they carry.

So let's see...we sit on that deck of yours enjoying the fantastic view, suck back a few brews, and I blast birds all afternoon.

I'll be there about noon tomorrow. ;)

I'm from Georgia, home of the Atlanta Falcons who pulled off a spectacular win against one of the best NFL teams in a Thursday night special.

    :) :P B)
  • Oconee Try the Piglet Mart in Dublin on Hwy 19. Have had some pretty good luck there I work in Dublin and live in Macon. If looking for steaks in Macon, try Hoyt's market on Vineville They als have some pretty good fish. the Fresh Market in Macon on Forsyth Road by Stein Mart has some good meat as well
