For those of you who haven't picked up a Flip Video Camera yet, here's a great opportunity for you.

That's about the lowest price I've seen anywhere and it's in HD. Well worth the price.

Just in time for Thanksgiving.

  • Yes, I'm still on for 2:30. Don't have to be at the hospital until 12:30.

They want me to shower and 'scrub' all over with a special insecticide or something just before I report there. Apparently, they don't trust themsleves to steralize me.

  • Thought you would like that.

Mine is still going strong after more than two years.

Well clean yourself up well and we'll be thinking about you. Have Judy take a pic of you just going out of it with the paper hat on like Kim did to me last year. -RP
  • Does that 'special soap' have 'DDT' as an ingredient? Could be bed bugs they're after!

    Good luck!

I picked an old style up from woot after you posted some of your earlier pictures. Mine has a click every 10 or so seconds. My fault for not getting it taken care of during the 90 day woot warranty.

Anyway now is a good opportunity to get the HD version and give my old one away.

Sweet. I've been wanting one of these for a long time. Being the cheap-___ bargain hunter that I am, I just ordered one. Hope it performs well. I've never ordered from Woot before. THANKS!

I have bought a lot of stuff from them and they have always been great to work with.

Keep in mind these are refurbished. So when you get it use it and if there is a problem notify woot and you shouldn't have any problems.

Yeah it's like a banner week for me around here. Got my egg Tuesday, new camera came in the mail then too, and now the Flip. I better get some meat and then hide the debit card. ;)

    Leroy,
Since your thread may be creating more FLIP users like you did me a couple years back here's my solution for steadying my hand - a wrist brace if you will that is bolted onto the base of the FLIP. Works for me!

And to think I use a Bud Light to steady my hand. Seriously that looks like a handy item. EBAY here you come!

    huh???

My brace is a one of a kind, but if you want to start some wild bidding let me know and after it reaches $1,000 I'll even throw in a brand new FLIP!

I'm about to pull the trigger on this thing, but just can't make up my mind. Is the image stabilization that big of a deal. I think I read where the third generation has it but these (2nd gen) don't have it. I have two kids 5 and under and need something very portable to carry around with us. Sure beats the big ole camcorders.

mine is a first generation, refurb, for $59 as I recall. It works great and at that cost even if I ONLY had used it twice, three times or whatever I feel I have gotten my money's worth! My wrist brace is simply something I designed/created because at my age I needed the stability in holding that tiny camera while shooting a video without making people sea sick in watching it!
