Thin Bone In Pork Chops; Tuesday Night Dinner

Thin Bone In Pork Chops tonight;
The night before I slathered them with yellow mustard and sprinkled with Dizzy Pig Pineapple Head. More DP before grilling also. Veggies on direct at 375 first. Chops on after at 600 for just a few minutes. Skillet mashed potato cakes and Clif Climber White wine and that's dinner on a Tuesday night. Our impression on the chops was they were good but could have been better somehow. The mustard gave them a tang while the Pineapple Head took the opposite role and sweetened them up; a decent compare and contrast. Good but not a wow. Here's the pics.
Ready for the Egg
Mrs. 500's mashed potato cakes
Egg'd Zucchini and Onions
Through the top;
Ready to pull off;
Ready for the table;
I always get the eye roll :unsure: from Mrs. 500 when I take pictures of food.

They ALL looked fine to me.

Nice cook. Bone in pork chops much better than butterflied chops.
Any road will take you there if you don't know where you're going.

500, Great post. I'm glad you made the pic's larger. Gotta love them tater cakes. :P I never slathered mustard on my chops but it looks like you got a good char on them. I bet they were tasty and the veggie tray looks good as well. :P Tim

well you must be hard on yourself
because they look awesome!!! -
When most everything off the Egg is awesome, your standards raise for what is awesome. My two biggest critics here love just about anything off the Egg, so they become my litmus for what is great and what is just OK.
