Conecuh Sausage

I tried "Conecuh" at a friends house last weekend. Even though he cooked it on his George Foreman, it rocked! One of the best sausages I've had. Evidently they use sheep stuff for the casings. It is made in Southern Alabama, and has fairly recently become available almost nationwide. I will be picking some up soon to cook the right way!
*In searching, I found a thread of same subject from earlier this year that I posted to, but seemingly it failed to appear in "active thread first" view.

It's definitely good sausage. I use it in red beans, jambalaya and also with just sausage and cheese plate appetizers. They have the small casing sausage and the regular size smoked sausage as well.

Is it pork or beef or both?Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

I first tasted it when Lake Conroe Egger cooked it in OKC this year. It is the BEST! But I can't find it locally, have you had any luck?

I haven't looked yet. Their website shows "Ingles" and "Publix" stores carry it in Georgia.
I did notice you can order online and have shipped. I think it was approx $50 for 12ea 1# packages not incl freight. -
Thanks Ron I made notes for when we go to Publix. Tim

Conecuh is the best by far that I have ever had. Made in Conecuh county in Alabama. You can order off of their website. Nothing comes close to comparing.
