The day started nicely with some strawberry flowers for breakfast from my girls.....
Looked like the rains were going away at last...
So I went ahead with some Prime Rib, Rack of Lamb & Shrimps al Pernod
Seared the two cuts first at 600 + .....
Loren & Vale came down to where we were to say hello
Pulled the Prime Rib & The Lamb at 125 internal & reserved
Then it was time to have the shrimp flambé with the Pernod,,,,,,,
Ready....Over a bed of Dry Cured Spanish Ham
Plated...
With the misfits...
Smoking a nice cigar on my own "Far from the madding crowd" :P ...
Loren's B'Day cake a decadent triple chocolate...the candle said...you look better every year..yes I know before you say anything I must tell you she must love me... :woohoo: :laugh: It was so, so good!!!
Both mi girls gave me the Official Football World Cup Mexican Team Shirt for a present...I loved it
