CAT Seller

I have done serval single butts on my LBGE, but never two at once. I would assume it take roughly the same amount of time to cook two, as it does one? Maybe a just a little longer?

They will cook to the speed of the larger one. most likely. If you have one probe for your meat, I'd put it in the smaller one. Then check the other with a different therm when the time comes.

I have not seen much increase in the time for two butts versus one. I try to always cook at least two to get the most out of the lump that is used. Try to keep them separated just a little bit.

easy peasy. Some are unique and may not come off at the same time other wise you will make a lot of people very happy. Tim
Here are three small ones but I would rather cook the larger butts.
You should put your meat probe in the smaller butt.

Aslong as there arn'ttouching the time should be similar to single butts. The smaller should finish first.

I've done 8 before (on two eggs) and they all finished about the same time and around the same time as a single.. sometimes you do get one pain of a butt that just takes a bit longer.

I did my first double last sun. 9.5 lbs and 9.2 lbs, The smaller one took about 4 hrs longer to reach 195. Must have had much more collagen to render. They both came out awesome. Just threw off the timing, that's all.
