has anyone tried a looflighter

I just seen something called a loofligher. It claims to light your fire in less than 60 seconds. What do you think of them. Would you suggest one.

My dealer threw in a looftlighter when I bought my second egg. I have tried it once and it works as advertised. Point it at a spot and it will light in 60 seconds -- equivalent to impact of using a torch just taking more time. I still prefer using a weedburner since it is quicker yet it is great having the looftlighter as a backup.

yes, have one.
Nice toy, use it nearly always.
But have yet the second one, my first one got a defect afer 3 month. Was still in warranty time and got a new one

Where can one obtain it in the United States? -
Is it 120V or battery operated

It is not battery operated. You plug it into a standard electrical outlet.

Mine worked for about 6 months, then quit and is unserviceable.

My dealer here in Ottawa carries it and there are no doubts dealers in the US that carry it too -- there is a link on the looflighter facebook page to a google map with dealers displayed on it. The looftligher is also listed on Amazon.

I've had one since June and I love it. Electric, and can spit sparks up into your eyes if not careful.

Great when they work. Unfortunately they have a high failure rate and you can't service them. Not worth it IMO.
