Who is going to the DC Metrofest? I am, baking breads again and I heard there is someone doing pizza. Gotta be more than the two of us. Anyone?

I am new to the whole Green Egg thing. In fact I am so new I don't have one. Yet! I'm getting my egg, small, this weekend. I won the egg on an auction from a dealer; actually stole it at $210 with nest and cover. I’m looking forward to meeting other eggheads and learning a few secrets. While the drive down there is about 2 hours, I would like to know what to bring without being a freeloader.

If you're not cooking then you don't need to bring anything except an appetite. Just come down, try all the food, and ask lots of questions! You'll learn a lot about egging at a fest.

Don't bring a thing but your appetite. There may be an entry fee for tasters like yourself. But you don't bring any food. We cooks provide that to you. Our treat. Have fun and be sure to introduce yourself.
