  • Opening weekend delayed one day. The Popsicles are coming and looking forward to seeing everyone. Nothing like a big old Texas party.

That is great news. I'm sure it would be better to catch you at the end of the season with a full freezer.LOL

Clay and Tweety will be there! Since this will be our first Outlaw Gathering...when do we start? Is there a Friday night event and will there be an "after party" at the hotel Sat night?

Last year, the ones who came in Fri. had a meet and greet at the American Legion, the event site. Some eggs got cranked up on the patio and maybe a drink, or 2 , was enjoyed. A chicken fried steak dinner was also served. However, this was preceded by a pre-pre party at Twin Peaks next to the hotel. M ost people showed up at the event aroun 9 a.m. Sat. morning. We cooked all day and into the night. Music was provided and most eggers got "relaxed', if you know what I mean

Sounds like fun. Did I see a band in the pics from last year? Any way we could have karaoke? When do we start listing what we're going to cook? Thanks for putting this all together!

There is usually a band on Fri. night and a DJ Sat. all day. This DJ Plays all over Europe and is especially big in France. He can't be stumped! I dare you to try ;)

    You are thinking of OKC.

  • I'll be there for sure - not sure about Colleen yet. Sorry about getting in here late - I've been motorcycling around the hill country for a week. I'll send a separate e-mail in case you've dropped the thread by now.
