For Sale Or Trade: WIFE!!!!

So, I go grocery shopping this morning and want to cook something nice for my wife for tonight's dinner. I decided on fillet mignon, shrimp and artichoke. Why? because I love her? No, because they were all on sale. :P :P
After I cooked EVERYTHING on the Egg, the shrimp came out awesome as I drenched it in EVOO, garlic and Swamp Venom, but the fillet mignon was the best I ever cooked...nice crust with a rare inside like we both like it. I also cooked it a little different than the "usual" way. After we almost finished the whole meal (with a nice bottle of Silver Oak Cab.), she tells me: "I don't care for fillet mignon".
If no one is interested in her either for sale or trade, how much do you think I could get for her on Ebay? :silly:

Ha ha - maybe try a nice ribeye next time.
I'm sure it was tasty! -
I'm sorry, how much was your bid? Your're right, I usually can persuade her into anything with R.E.
-
dont feel bad my wife told me she didnt like the "pillowy soft" texture of my last filet mignon cook....BTW they were seared perfectly and a bit on the rare side, just how they should be!!!
-
excellent choice of rotten grape juice. one of my favorites.

Just a couple of questions
1- are you the original owner?
2- how many miles?
3- all original equipment?
4- ever wrecked or major body work?
5- warranty?
6- efficient or a guzzler?
7- does she have a boat?
   -
...and "they" say you can never figure out women. I'm starting to believe this
-
no thanks... I am still making payments on my first wife... she is expensive
-
yes, indeed it was a good bottle of wine. Was it worth her complaining about the nice cut of meat? well, yes again.
-
Is a BGE/Boxer part of the trade?? LOL Should I add one of FlaPoolMan's fishing boats without an engine about 25 feet long? He says the yard needs cleaning up.
-
What Pat said plus
8. Does she clean fish?
Love Silver Oak - visited the winery a couple years back -

You may have to PAY someone to take her!!!
-
I'll make you a deal...I'll keep the BGE's and boxers, you get the wife...boat or no boat
-
Clean fish????? She won't scramble me eggs for breakfast. I guess me selling the features and benefits aren't working
-
Sounds good to me, how much????
-
If she's like mine, the initial cost is nothing next to the upkeep.
-
...and why is that?
-
What's amatter Rich? Was the "not in the usual way" involving precious family heirlooms?South SLO County

You know the rules of the forum...
If you don't post photos of the wife, she does not really exist.
But still funny story. Remember, she will take half your Eggs and the house on a trade...Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas -

Heck, just the cost of paint and new seat covers is a king's ransom :P
-
OMG...I just pee'd my pants, John. Thanks or the laugh
-
I'll trade a nice color of lime green neon paint for her :pinch:

Heck, I'll throw in a year's subscription to CARFAX if you take her...tonight

My test question when I cook something new is: 1) do you like it? The answer is always YES or UMHUMMM, then I move to question 2) do you want me to make it again??? Not always so much...that is when the truth comes out. Spice level typically the issue. She cooks without salt and pepper even...I feel your pain.Visit my blog, dedicated to my Big Green Egg Recipies at http://www.bigtsbge.blogspot.com You can also follow my posts on FaceBook under the name Keep On Eggin' or the link http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Keep-On-Eggin/198049930216241

That, I don't know, but she is easy to train
-
That is a buzz kill if ever I saw one.
I wouldn't feed her filet even if it meant I didn't have to listen to her complain while she was chewing...
Which reminds me...if a man is standing alone in a forest and says something out loud but there isn't a woman around to hear him, does that still mean he is wrong?
