Due to high fire danger and three wild fires within the last 1-1/2 weeks no open fires or charcoal cooking until further notice.
A good time to change my gasket!

    We get that a lot in Oklahoma and that is when the old gas grill gets used.

    ive seen more fires with gas grills than eggs :ermm: maybe stand a propane bottle next to the egg :whistle:

    Actually I talked to my local fire department and they came and looked. They are fine with me using my egg unless it is very windy.

    Yea I think the egg is safe to use.But I'm sure if I did, my neighbors would turn me in and if there was a fire and even it wasn't caused by my egg, they are always looking to pin the blame on someone and send them to prison.
    I have my egg apart and I'm going to replace the gasket.
    I haven't used my gasser in so long I'm not sure I remember how to start it! :laugh: :) :woohoo:
    I like the idea of putting a propane tank next to it! :laugh:

    lucky for us that "very windy" in Oklahoma starts at around 75MPH winds
