Rusty Rooster

I have not seen one today & this past weekend activity was wild. Seems they usually get real active just before they leave.

We thought they were all gone here in Maine and when I came into the studio this am one was in the impatients! I told him he better scoot quick! we have frosts coming :( we have taken all the feeders down as we had not seen anything for a few days either
-
We've got about 18 or 20 hanging around our two feeders. I take it we can expect more from up your way.

Tom, I still have some hummingbirds in Ohio. I sure hope they stick around longer. I love the little critters.

My feeders are still up & if they are still in Maine & Ohio I guess they better stay out & filled. Thoes little critters are a blast to watch!! Maybe I just have not watched at the correct moments today.

We got 3 or 4 forward scouts in residence and 6 feeders out. I guess they stopped at the Chicken Ranch for a cool one before heading down to V.I.'s Paradise Cove.__________________________________________Dripping Springs, Texas.Just west of Austintatious

Had three of them here in Atlanta this morning. All beating the heck out of eat other.

They are still here in central Illinois.Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.

I just saw two fighting over one of my feeders. I guess I have just not been observant enough today. Paying too much attention to my job.

We have 15 or 20 chasing each other off of our 2 feeders almost all day long. We're in central Alabama and the Hummies just showed up in force last week. Took one of the feeders off to freshen up the sugar water and had one follow me into our utility room which is right off of the deck. We enjoy them while they're here.

They are neat to watch. Their so fast. Tim

We're in the St Louis area and still have 3 or 4 hanging around, down from our high of 6-8. Not filling the feeders as often, guess things are slowing down.

They have been headed south from Black Forest CO for a while, still getting desperately hungry and thirsty ones coming through - we are 7400 feet and usually have a frost around now. It's unusually hot (mid 80's and 50's) and exceptionally dry - less than 10% humidity lately... so the little suckers really go at the feeders.
-
We had nothing, here in the Florida panhandle, until Labor Day. Now they are everywhere on my two feeders. They also fight over the Hibiscus and even the Marigolds. Wild action.

They are still very active at our house - Mobile, AL
