So I moved last month, to be closer to my daughter and ex-wife. I'm leasing out my house and renting one to live in, which I should have done long ago as the net/net is about a $500/mo savings in living expenses.
It's an older home but has renovated interior and is on a 20acre lake with lots of fish, none of which have found their way onto one of my hooks as of yet.
There is a ton of outdoor space for both my Eggs. I cooked a burger on my Small last night, which marked the first time I had Egged at the new place in the 5 weeks Ive been here(I did cook at a BGE demo a couple of weeks ago). The kicker....I have been using a gasser. Yes the place comes with a Ducane 6 burner, Stainless Steel unit. I have to say it is nicer than any gasser I ever had before going Green a few years ago. None the less, I'm an Egghead and will remain as such. Will be doing Pizza Friday night on the Large, then a butt on the Small.

Bacchus, thank you for confessing. Now go on your way and sin no more.
I think gassers get a bad name because there are so many cheap varieties that do not cook well. There are good ones out there, and they make some great food. -
For your sins I will need 12 ABT's,two spatches, and one 2 inch ribeye rare.Or you can sell me your eggs for 100$
GOOD EATS AND GOOD FRIENDS
DALE -
I have a Ducane that I got back in 1987 (cast aluminum body still like new)...a great gasser, but have not fired it up since I got my large...
-
I found a super deal on a very high end gasser last weekend that I could not pass up. Weber Summit Silver C. Even came with one of those fancy $100 fiberglass propane tanks and a very nice side burner. $225 for it all. Thought it would work great to season my cast iron parts as well.
Gassers are not evil...A good cook can adapt.
Gas on my friend and catch some fish...
DarianThank you,DarianGalveston Texas -
although the infrared and charcoal are pretty much the same temp, i like the smoke from natural lump. i also add a little extra smoke (not much) on occasion.

Where did you move to? I was looking forward to getting together for a Falcon game or two. This is the greatest signature EVAR!

i don't sear for a minute. i go for a longer browner steak rather than a shorter blackened steak
-
I prefer to cook planked fish (cedar planked salmon) on a gas grill.
-
you and tweev are going to a falcons game?
will wonders never cease...
lions, lambs, etc. -
i'm guessing it's more like "flat view syndrome"

Not far at all my friend, about 20 miles due west. It's a 30min drive from Larryville. Marietta address now.
I never miss a game so throw out a date and lets do it. -
I had a ducane years ago. It was a great grill.
