Well I have some Prime Ribeys in the fridge for tonight. I have always wanted to order from KC Steak Company so I did.

I was wondering if anyone else has?

I recieved a KC Rib Roast as a gift last Christmas and did not care for it at all. It was mushy and without much flavor. Lord only knows what it cost. I have bought a few things from Omaha Steak Co and find the same thing to be true, mushy, without flavor, and way overpriced. Also, you will notice that the meaat is not graded. If you call and ask, they will not tell you. At least this is true wth Omaha, I don't know about KC, but I expect they are about the same.

I hate to put a damper on your meal, but that is my experience.

KC Steak company does have some Prime grade meat available. The rest is listed as "premium". Of course, if it ain't prime, it is probably choice. They do talk about 28 day aging of their premium meats. So I guess we'll have to see how his meat turns out.

Well I have the "Prime" that is supposed to be aged so we will see. They look really good if that counts for anything!
