steak salad - or why I don't eat a whole steak!

I love a nice hot aged steak, but I always save some for a salad later. This was similar to Saturday's salad of red leaf lettuce, onion, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, green peas, Litehouse Bleu Cheese dressing, Maytag crumblies, toasted sunflower kernels and of course slices of rare New York strip for the meat kicker. Add a glass of wine on the side and I'm in heaven!

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one to save a little steak from tonight's dinner for tomorrow's fabulous lunch salad. I'm on my way out the door in 15 minutes to start the process.
