Haven't been in here in a long time. Kinda fun to read all the posts from the "new" folks, and especially the "old" folks whose posts I used to read regularly. Do you remember who answered your very first question about how to cook ANYTHING on your brand new egg? Mine was Bordello. I think he solved my problem with Boston Butts. Sure are some great cookers in here. Still a great forum!

I think is was AZRP who answered my first question which was about posting pics. He even called me and walked me through the process. This was before we ever met though I felt like I knew him and others after years of lurking without a post. Wasn't long after that we met in Ocala and I'm happy to call him a friend.

Great to see you around, and great question. I went to my posts and it doesn't show. I don't remember who replied.Molly

Nice post, and good to see you back. Just searched my posts, and I was welcomed by Lawn Ranger, WessB, and Sundown, the night I got my Egg home after my first cook, a little over 6 years ago....

Great post. I don't remember. I got CRS can't remember sh!t. I remember when I first started egging I needed this forum and they were here for me. I sure do love this forum. I know the other day the forum had suspended my account and it was several hours before I learned that everyone was in the same shape I was in. It took me a while to figure out what to do with my time. We are expecting triplets in May. :woohoo: Ha Just kidding. Tim

Hey DG,good to see you around more Great question, but I don't remember who helped me with my first question.I think that it was about a cracked firebox or something.By the time I found the forum,I already had two eggs for 4 yrs,so I kinda learned on my own.I've learned lots of great stuff since finding the forum though :woohoo: BTW:It was you that took the time to help me with the picture posting process, and for that,I thank you

If I recall correctly, it was Naked Whiz recommending first cook to be...spatchcock.
It really is a great forum, even if no one ever answered a thing using search will just about lead you to anything you need to know on egging! I used to be on a car forum and people there were always being admonished to "use the search." Egg forum seems to be more about the conversation than "just the facts," which is nice. -
It was Grandpa's Grub helping me with Thermapen after I left it out in the rain after first cook.
