I have a Lg BGE, and I am looking to get a stone from this website
http://www.bakingstone.com/order.php
Question is....Would you spring for the 16.25" BBQ stone, or stick with the 15.5" Oven model? The BBQ model includes a flame diverter, which is obviously not needed when used with a plate setter. So essentially, I would be paying an $14 for an additional .75".

Personally I'd stick with the BGE stone.

From their site:
Although FibraMent has a 1500°F continuous use operating temperature limit, it cannot be exposed directly to flame. The flame diverter that comes with our barbecue grill stones must be used. If a flame diverter can't be used, we have a special flame resistant material for your application. For pricing, phone or e-mail our office with your baking chamber size. Include as many details about your oven as necessary.
This would deter me. Flames have been known to contact pizza stones in the egg.

The 13" seems pretty small, how thick is it?
-
Any idea how thick that stone is?
-
LOL, I certainly hope so
-
Thank you for that, I did not read that disclaimer.
-
CGS stones are approx. 5/8" thick, very high quality, you won't go wrong I use the 13" in my Lge and lover it :cheer:

Go with the BGE stone. I've tried other stones with poor results and then followed the advice from some of the forum members and went with the BGE stone...I should've started with it

I recently got the BGE stone. It has been working very well. You will love pizza off the Egg
