    Oh, Jason, it may be late in the evening but you have made my day. This is the most wonderful news. You deserve to be happy and it sounds as if you have found your soul mate. I can't wait to meet her. Please come visit if you ever get back in Houston. We have a spare room and would love to have you both.     Sad to say this will be our first year missing the Eggtoberfest. Leroy is recovering from knee surgery and the location this year is not condusive to "old folks". I guess we got spoiled with that big Greyhound bus lugging us around and the after-party just a few steps from our comfy bed. Time changes everything but sometimes not for the best. I am so glad it changed to "great" for you....now.....let's see some wedding pictures of our new "daughter".

    Judy, please tell Leroy I'm so sorry about his knee. I had knee surgery a few years back and I know it ain't no fun. We'll definitely miss y'all - Eggtoberfest just isn't the same without the Chickens walking around.

    What a nice surprose. The entire staff here at the Chicken Ranch is thrilled for you. I see where the Ranch Maddam already put in an invite. Maybe one of these days you two can Eggsperience the Chicken Ranch in all it's glory.

    I know my 'girls', Lily Large, Shirley Small and Maggie Mini would be thrilled to actually meet The Legend himself. Of course, they will all be vying for the honor of you actually cooking a genuine TRex Steak on them. It's likely there would be a 'movie' made of the event. Shoot, maybe CNN can come back and do another story about the goings on around here.

    I'm finding out that knee surgery isn't for sissy's, but now that they figured out some pain issues I'm on the road to recovery. Got another knee to do next year. Really looking forward to it NOT!.

    Like Judy said, we probably won't make Atlanta this year. In fact, few if any of the Texas Contingent is going. We even thought about throwing another Coop Party but it's been so hot here that we are thinking further ahead, like when Hell freezes over LOL. But it's still on the back burner.

    Once again, happy to see you are happy and we wish you all the best. Also looking forward to seeing some more posts from you. From what I can tell, you complement each other's cooking skills.
